Apnea Phi Phi is the first freediving school located in Phi Phi Islands, Thailand. Officially opened here in February 2023 and been educating the people ever since. We’re excited to share an extraordinary freediving journey as you explore breathtaking landscapes, renowned worldwide, accompanied by our one-of-a-kind long tail boat.

Our courses cater to all levels, from beginners to advanced by Apnea Total, an international organization that promotes a unique freediving education system and provides certifications that are recognized worldwide and has certified over 12,000 freedivers to date.

And we also provide personal training sessions to improve your skills and techniques. Our team also organizes trips to explore the magnificent underwater world of the Andaman Sea.

"In the wake of the global Covid-19 pandemic, the world came to a standstill as borders closed, flights were cancelled and cities locked down. As a nomadic individual, I found myself faced with a spontaneous decision. With a single backpack overflowing with a passion for exploration and a profound connection to the ocean, I hopped on last train bound for the southern shores of Thailand.

Having traveled far and wide to various islands in search of my next adventure, it was on the fateful day I set foot on Phi Phi Islands that I realized I had stumbled upon something truly extraordinary. Drawn in by the island's mesmerizing natural beauty and the warmth of its people, leading me to make the life-changing decision to relocate here in 2020.

Since then, my days have been dedicated to unraveling the mysteries of this tropical paradise, and refining my own freediving skills. It was during this time that I realized there was no freediving school on the island, despite its awe-inspiring underwater wonders and the growing interest in this exhilarating activity.

Inspired by the boundless diversity, I made a resolute decision in late 2022. I took it upon myself to establish the first freediving school on Phi Phi Islands. As a "Master of none" I have assumed the roles of shop owner, working class, manager, instructor, and more, in this small but affectionate enterprise. Although modest in size, the shop emanates warmth and a palpable passion for our underwater world.
